Got access to Ubisoft's Rider's Republic on PC. Not sure if I'll bother right now. It's not like Ubisoft devs listen to their users during beta anyways (Looking at you, Crew 2 and STEEP - and this is clearly mostly from the STEEP devs.) But that's beside this point. Besides the game seeming like it might be pretty sweet, the dialogue in this trailer now almost makes me vomit. And I'm not talking simply excessively-lame dialogue like Crew 2, but like that deliberately-and-blatantly anti-BLM game from Ubisoft. (I actually don't even remember the name of it at this point.) This still has the sense of being pretty (American?) right-wing (or Nationalist) tone to it. - Which is going to end in tragedy again (continually) if it ends up continuing.
Don't say it doesn't, because it fuckin' does.

Not to mention the business model is hinting at being something dirty. (Buying quick travel / run resets maybe?) And so far it doesn't even seem to be a part of Ubisoft's newly announced F2P push. I thought STEEP and Crew were going to be that long ago. Yet they're still paid, WITH ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIVE PAID CONTENT AND MICROTRANSACTIONS ON TOP OF IT!
(Also Ancestors has finally sold a million copies.)
