I had not seen those particular videos - they are very disturbing. Been seeing/hearing what's on the news regarding the riots, and I've seen some disheartening and disgusting "Karen" videos lately.
Amazing how the country can go from a rather tepid confrontational situation over how necessary the COVID-19 shutdowns have been, (or for some people, how "real" the virus is), to pockets of near complete chaos. The truly saddening and maddening death of George Floyd was yet another clear indication of excessive force used (primarily against POC) that is pervasive across many police departments and the institution in general. Change is needed and the protests are needed. I wish the looting and destruction of property could have been avoided. I understand the anger, but think it is focused in the wrong way.
Unfortunately, focusing it on peaceful protests aren't enough either. I've been reflecting on this a lot even before all this. I mean, the pure hatred that Colin Kaepernick received, for a peaceful and respectful protest is proof that that alone won't change people's minds and in fact digs some people even further into their views.
Trump is a blight on society and he has clearly helped bring so much of the underlying hate in this country to the surface (and made people feel it is socially acceptable to display). However voting him out would only be the start and in fact will not truly solve anything. The truth is that you will never get hateful people to change, not peaceful nor violent protests will do so. I think, the only possible way to get true change is to continue to vote (at all levels from local to the POTUS) for people that truly want change.

There's also the responses on these videos, particularly the ones on porches, where they say "it's curfew, stay inside" with a nearly 100% contradictory post from that same person that the quarantine lockdown was/is unjust and wrong and that the enforcement is overstepping.
Unfortunately, I've paid less attention to Biden than I should, but I know some things. The thing is that I pretty much see Biden as my grandfather (in comparison). Yes, my grandfather is slightly more conservative than Biden (which is why the people who left Trump will only go as far as Biden), but really, just mostly in age and cognition.... Even more so, my grandfather has now about gone over the hill of being able to grasp thoughts. Sure, my grandfather's been nonsensical all the time (While he isn't racist, and tragically not even nefarious, but still of the old-fashioned oppressive "Man of the American Household" way), but now it's about becoming a complete mess of what he's trying to do at any given time... and is that Biden?
With where Biden seems to be about at at his point in his mental cognition (perhaps), how is he going lead anything? Or push any kind of point? I can hope that I'm wrong. (And some people will go along with any level of cognition, right?~....)
(But geez, what if they do go back because of this whole current situation?)

Some Valve employees in Seattle were part of this stuff as well. The curfew times changed and texted at the current time, (and received afterwards).
