Looks like the next AC is knights and vikings together.
Shields and spears again, whoopie....
Honestly, it already seems like it'll be extremely similar to Odyssey. I just hope they make the Nemesis system A LOT more interesting than just an extremely long chain of "people" that come at you all game.
Also, if they actually do keep the randomly generated missions that were really low quality, they better be massively improved, but I doubt it.

I saw some type of teaser was announced... so knights and vikings? I mean I'm good with the overall swords and shields as I don't get too tired of it really. But I definitely want a good main character to go along with what is hopefully an interesting and beautiful world. I really ended up enjoying Odyssey more than Origins due to Kassandra and also the fighting seemed more fun. I always had trouble dodging with Bayek and had to resort to building enough energy to do the power move. Anyways, from what I saw of Alexios I think I would not have enjoyed Odyssey nearly as much if I had chose him.
I recently started some of the Discovery tour for Odyssey and I still marvel at the worlds the AC series brings to life so I am of course quite excited for the next one on that basis.

Somebody just made public a pitch video of an actual canned Prince of Persia (video uploaded in 2012). But this is not in-game gameplay. This is the vertical slice pitch video to show the bosses, even though nothing here is actually "game" yet, even though it looks like it is.
