Vicarious Visions is being merged with Blizzard (all owned by Activision). VV made the Crash and Tony Hawk remakes (and Nitro Kart and GBA games). Beenox made CTR (and have recently seemingly been put fully on CoD support, even hiring a ton of people for it) and Toys For Bob made Crash 4.
I guess they've chosen, but I fear that Crash 4 didn't sell enough for Activision, even if it was good.

Crash 4 is getting a next-gen update and release, as well as a Switch release. 4K-60 for next-gen. Except they're actually going to charge $60 for the next-gen release (original owners get it free) (Switch $40.) After the original was discounted so heavily so quickly.
oh wait, the PC version is actually $40. 
And apparently Japan has to actually pay for the next-gen version.

^ They're charging $10 to upgrade to the next-gen versions of THPS....  Japan has to pay full price no matter what. Why? Because the X & O buttons are opposite for them this gen?
Oh, even better.... The owners of the physical version cannot upgrade!!!!

Toys for Bob is now working on CoD, AS ARE ALL THE FUCKING OTHERS INCLUDING BEENOX. Oh, but VV was merged into Blizzard (I guess.)
Crash and Spyro are fucking done. That's incredible.....

Crash 4 is coming to Steam on Oct 18th. A new game (Probably Wumpa League) will be revealed at The Game Awards (Probably).
