I love downloading 7GB of updates I'm not going to use...
Though space battles are enticing (though I don't like the flying controls in Battlefront very much) and more importantly, they should have been in the game to begin with and not paid DLC (and yes, 4-5 maps was frickin sad, EA.....), I'm low on hard drive space and'll probably be removing Battlefront, BFH, and BF4 before I install BF1.
RIP Hardline... Except for Hotwire, and some others, you were better than you got credit for....

So I just started to play some of this game, and my oh my do the visuals really please the eye! I did a couple tutorials/missions and 2 online matches. In both cases I'm in awe of the graphics and sound etc. Really cool. I enjoyed the two matches as well. It was the conquest type of match.
In the flying tutorial I had to change the controls to Legacy so I could use the left stick to turn, but I wish accelerate wasn't on the stick and on a trigger instead. Oh well. It wasn't horrible.
Maybe it was a bit of nostalgia and all with Carrie Fisher this week, but I felt quite warmly toward the game. This is the Ultimate Edition which came with all the DLC, got it for like $20 during the holidays. Great deal. Can't wait to try the VR mission!

Yeah, the flying controls.... I did not find fun. I wonder if I posted the picture from the beta where me and and enemy got interlocked at the "top" of the sky... stuck there because amazingly the game doesn't turn you around when you reach it and just stops you, last time I checked. We just hung out there for a long time lol. That also reminds me, in Battlefield 1 on the open desert map at what used to be Alpha, before they obnoxiously rearranged the letters for no justifiable reason, I was taking an armored truck up the back side of A with a passenger, which you can do from a few different angles, but we got stuck vertical AND... it wouldn't let either of us out. So we just laughed about it in chat.   |

Looks like you'll be able to pay for weapons and (loot crate) unlocks that are, quite literally, better than the others. So fuck that....

Wow well.... Ok then.....
I hadn't realized, but just on steam alone... the game averages 400-500 to upwards of 1,000 still. Holy cow.....
But users are reporting that this update is currently broken.

Man, I sure hate that they make everything so convoluted nowadays. Star cards, boosts all kinds of crap. I just liked when you earn xp to unlock better guns or whatever. Not to mention the whole microtransaction and loot crate nonsense.
