"Valve, widely reported to still be a company, making what are sometimes considered ‘games’ still probably exists and may or may not have between 2 and 4,000 employees in one or more buildings."
It's about damned frickin time, but Steam has finally given us official streaming over the internet through the Steam client.
The instructions are kind of confusing in a vague way though. Hopefully it hurdles won't be too bad (and hopefully doesn't need people to open ports anymore), other than the obvious internet connection quality hurdles.
Actually, it seems like it might only be client-to-app right now. And there is no W10 app for it still.
GRiD 2 free from Humble.
As usual, you probably have to do a ridiculous amount of clicking through before you can finally get to the redeeming keys. It still gets longer to get to them every time. It never takes me right there.
Steam/Valve is now going to remove game reviews from with in a period of "review bombing" time from the game's score - Review bombing identification is already done automatically, but removing them from the game's score is going to be confirmed by a human.
At first I thought this was going to be specific reviews that were deemed "off topic" by being about the review bomb topic and not the game, as other news sources made it seem. But it looks like they might actually be cancelling out all review scores within the bombing time period? I'm not sure how I feel about that...
Oh, but every user can apparently opt in/out of having review bomb periods included in the score when browsing. Not sure exactly where, but apparently it will be there.
FYI, in the Q&A/FAQs, they have deemed reviews about DRM or EULA changes as "off topic".
Q: So if I post a review inside in the period of an off-topic review bomb, my review won't be included in the Review Score?
A: Unfortunately, this is correct. We've tested our process of identifying off-topic review bombs on the entire history of reviews on Steam, and in doing so, we've found that while we can look through reviews and community discussions to determine what's behind the review bomb, it isn't feasible for us to read every single review. But as we mentioned back in our first User Review post, our data shows us that review bombs tend to be temporary distortions, so we believe the Review Score will still be accurate, and other players will still be able to find and read your review within the period.
Old/previous review bombs are not going to be excluded from score.

Designate players to avoid on the post-game screen to filter them out of your matchmaking pool.
Sure wanted player ratings in TF2 for a long time. But how will this Party Finder not be spammy as fuck?....
TF2 hasn't gotten an announced improvement to matchmaking in a looong time. Only seem to see teasers for tweaks to CS:GO and now Dota 2. It's been like a year or year and half.
