Oh wth, RL on Series X will supersample from 2688x1512 to 1080, but PS5 at 1080 plays at only 1080. That's bullshit!
Also, idk what's up, but I don't recall lagging when playing RL here with my sister on PS4, and the internet isn't great. But on PS5 (rn) it's sporadically lagging like hell - nobody else is using it I don't think. Maybe it's Christmas, but it really feels like wireless lag - and that's also what it indicates, but I don't necessarily trust the icon in RL. I'd like to be able to split the wireless bands on this router, but that would be a hassle, even after I leave I bet. Don't know why my laptop here seems to be given 5G, but PS5 is getting 2.4? Oh interesting, I think you may be able to force the PS5 to 5G after the fact by hitting Options in the wireless selection. Another too-hidden option? Damnit, Sony..... I wonder if it'll even help with whatever's actually happening in this situation. I bet not!.... Tomorrow, then.... |

lol They released an update to fix the UI going back to Casual, which would do in certain cases. Guess what it does every single time now?
And, once again, they're also looking for a bug that causes uneven teams in Casual.
I bet / don't think they've fixed the new issues with the report menu either.

lol I didn't realize they actually added 3-wheel mode as a LTM. The reason the boost recharges is because you can get stuck laying on your side AND jumping can't set you right-side-up.  And normal steering is really limited, so in a way, it teaches you driving lines/angles, waiting to set up your teammates - but hopefully they aren't accidentally rolled over on their side, and if they are hopefully your other teammate knows to get back around to goal. |

New Season has started with all the usual. Except Starbase ARC (Aftermath), which is a Standard shape, is being removed for some reason. sigh
Club MOTDs have been removed due to "Moderation Concerns"... of course.
Wait what?.... Is this a fix for me? idk, maybe maybe not

Well of course no actual update for me. 1080p still renders at the same resolution. Also colors at the edge of the new Arena are Way too bright in SDR somehow, meanwhile all the older arenas where toned down too far long ago, in SDR.
At least they might have fixed Trade-in selection jumping to the top each time on PS? which might not have been noted.

The new LTM for this Halloween is a rounded-cube jack-o-lantern AND Unlimited Boost.
Now I really just want them to have an Unlimited Boost Ranked mode. Fucking having to pick up Boost. Seriously.
