Yeah I saw this. I like the idea of such a big FOV, but I assume this'll be PC only competing with Oculus, it'll probably get buried. And Sony and MS won't want it due to Morpheus and Oculus... interesting to get into the hardware side of it. I like the idea though
Oculus is going strongly into the partnership with Facebook, and now Microsoft, and mobile. I'm... a tad worried people that were really hopeful for the Rift specifically might get left out in the cold at launch. Here's hoping not, but I'm sure people won't have too much hesitation with jumping to the Vive. And then there's this... however it ends up turning out.
I'm getting really stoked for VR next year. Obviously th8nking more about playstation VR, but Rift is a maybe too depending on content.
I got to try a friend's Gear VR, and it is pretty obvious this medium has tons of potential, but what I tried was just simple tech demo stuff, no real games. Still hella cool though!
