I hope PS6 is the last console. I'm not getting this (probably even if I could)
Did he say 3/4th are choosing Performance modes over Quality/"Fidelity"? wow
Did he not even mention that you can buy&attach the disc drive to it? Also it has a 2TB SSD.

(are the Slim and Pro the same size? or perhaps slight variation in the vent angle/size for airflow, or perhaps not at all?)
The Switch 2 launch price is definitely going to be $400. It couldn't be $500, right?

That price. Big nope from me. Considering I just checked and GameStop has trade in value of OG PS5 with disc at $230. You're looking at over $500 if you want the vertical stand and even more to upgrade to add the disc drive. Now I used to say 30fps was fine and I wanted best possible picture because it is a "video" game afterall, but I have def switched to performance. I figure you're almost always in motion anyways, so what looks best in-motion is what really matters, and this the higher frame rate with less blur and choppiness.
So yeah, cool to have better graphics AND 60fps, but I'm sure my old eyes won't even notice. Hell plenty of times I'll switch back between fidelity and performance and I can't even tell the fidelity looks better standing still! But I do notice the better frame rates. Happy to wait for a PS6 for "better" I think. ANd heck also playing on the Portal some of time anyways!
I agree with Gerstmann's take for sure. Not sure I "want" PS6 to be the last - I do like having the ability to "cheaply" have multiple game setups for me and the kids, so going into mulitple gaming PCs not ideal, I guess if it can all stream to your TV at high performance and quality graphics, then that'd be cool.

Right. Plus if you trade in, it's really the difference you'd need to consider. I still think I'll be good without one though. I'm good supporting "expense" VR headsets for those unique experiences etc., but I'm pretty happy with PS5 performance. I mean SSD was huge upgrade from PS4 to 5, and I was sold on the PS4Pro helping with a 4k TV and PSVR. Plus I was in the market for another system to be able to play online with my kids.
