So Youtube finally cut off the feeds from the Vita app.
Strangely, not only do videos in your history feed still work (no, search does not work), but Youtube links from the web browser can still open the app and play them. This even includes going to a video's page on Youtube's mobile pages, opening up the dropdown menu and pressing Desktop. Their mobile site still does not have HD, only HQ, but hitting Desktop will open videos in the App where you can play them in HD. The mobile site still doesn't have any real sorting options either, but there's nothing you can do about that, which really sucks on top of it all.
I also noticed that Google no longer works without JavaScript. I thought that was backwards... Weren't we moving away from Flash and Java?.... Now, because of how slowly the Vita loads pages with JavaScript enabled, I have to disable it EVERY time I want to open a page through Google. And doing so usually causes the browser to hang anyways, causing the need to reboot the entire browser.... Even though the PSP had 1 small web browser upgrade, I kind of have a hard time believing that Sony will fix the Vita's web browser. Though they did just unlock 512 more MB of RAM for games on it, but I don't know if that should make me more or less hopeful for a browser upgrade...

Supposedly, again, 3.51 for Vita is coming soon. Probably delayed from last time to close the last minute Ape Escape exploit. Since there hasn't been much progress in getting PS1 games running well because PS1 emulation through the PSP emulator isn't great and because there's no exploit out to use the Vita's PS1 emulator on 3.50... I think, I've deleted my Crash Team Racing files from my Vita before it gets locked off, at least for a while, to save space. People are highly recommending that I sign up for the PS Mobile dev tools before it shuts down because there's an exploit through it being released soon. What it's capable of doing, I don't know. But.... I'm kinda too nervous to sign up for it. I mean... They already have all the data they need from my PSN account, but... you need to give your phone number and such to sign up for the PS Mobile stuff and then wait to get approved. The approval process is... kinda guaranteed... maybe, but still.

Oh btw, the Vita Youtube is completely useless now. No function working whatsoever.
Frustratingly, Youtube's mobile site still only does HQ (as far as it says) and even worse won't play videos over an hour long.
However, I have figured out a workaround for getting past the ads on the desktop site through the vita, since the Vita doesn't like playing multiple videos in a row. Usually this wouldn't work, I don't think, but it does on the Vita.
Every video on Youtube now uses the playlist interface. Meaning it always has a skip button, usually blocked during ads on PC I think, but still accessible on Vita. First the ad video will come up. Close it, and hit skip. Perhaps slowly, the video you're trying to watch will come up.
Just note that after the video ends and you close it, it will load the next video (and you may be on the web page for that next video, so make sure you're commenting on the right video if you decide to.) Going back seems to be a bit difficult though, so it's good to open a video's page in a new tab/window so you can re-open it from where you found it if it gets you stuck. For example, keep your subscription page open and open video links with a new tab.

Good to know. My Vita has been used primarily by my young son lately. I tried remote play yesterday but it just loses connection if I'm amy where but in the same room as the ps4, bummer that this feature doesn't work well for me.

And connecting by internet (or through your router) isn't usable either?

So the PS4 has an obnoxious bug. Something happens (who knows what) and bitstream through HDMI stops working... permanently. You can't get it back. (at least not fully/properly)
The only "solutions" I found are misleading information from people who don't know how the audio systems function. If you think you're getting surround sound through bitstream on HDMI, after this happens, your receiver is just upscaling the audio without getting surround sound directly from the bitstream source.
So... If you prefer the less muffled audio from DTS (or... you just like Dolby), you're SOL over HDMI. You can do Optical, but that has compressed rear audio because of the limitations of optical. Your last remaining option through HDMI is LPCM. That's the default and what they want you to use anyways, but I still feel it's muffled like Dolby and prefer how DTS sounds. But I can no longer use it through HDMI. FANTASTIC...
Maybe it could be fixed by a complete system restore, or if I'm lucky, maybe even a firmware update (as in, not being officially fixed... which I doubt they will do), but I'm not gonna take the time and effort to fully restore my console, especially to find out that it didn't work either.

Of course there's the obvious objection to anyone hoping to use their current move controllers, But I was also hoping that if they ever made new controllers, they'd combine the nav and tracking so that you could somehow use sticks if needed opening up the option to fit more games into a motion tracking controller. But maybe now with Morpheus you don't need it as much, I don't know. I still think moving around in VR is going to be the main problem to making good games.

I'm sure they'll be as good if not better. Notice that it still has the light thing on the front. (Though unknown exactly how it tracks if rotated backwards, but I'd assume they made sure it'd be fine. But I guess it's still sucky if you don't let you use them (I certainly got a really disappointing amount of use out of them (a tiny bit of LBP2 and that's it...)) but oh no! they don't have a Share button, do they?.... At least these could be more confortable, especially in a VR situation.
