lol Sean Murray's "Gold!!!" post on Reddit by the automoderator bot for the name being too short.... /r/Vita has the same and it's annoying as hell....
Hoooly crap.... His last post was 3 years ago when they were adding the TF2 characters to the Steam version of Joe Danger.... 1.

It both makes me more and less excited. I mean.... How much more intriguing will discoveries be than, well... Ubisoft world collectables/loot. Will it really be interesting enough to stick on a planet for more than a dozen "discoveries" before moving on? (unless you really need a specific resource.)
Either way, I'm happy to explore this for quite a while.
lol omg those quadruped slug-eyed creatures.... I bet their eyes don't wiggle or wave much at all though...
And people are gonna go crazy over the smiling deer and the buff guy.... (like they did with the big blob creature in an earlier one.)

Also, apparently the next NMS trailer is out. I'm surprised the first place I've found it is Game Informer... Not even on the PS blog, on Twitter or anything.
Also, there's a demonstration on creatures, how they work, and their locomotion. It's mostly math, but there's a few short clips (and image) showing some creatures. There are some parts that are pretty cool. Also a pretty goofy clip at the end...
starting at 6:40:39
Also, if you, either beforehand, want to know what IK is, or want a tad more in-depth information on IK (kind of), then check out Extra Credit's new video on Timing and the animation of Shadow of the Colossus:
Though it isn't really a technical video on how IK works.
Back to the demonstration video, I wish he had shown a bit more on the 4-legged creatures turning (and if it's any good). Also, too bad on the momentum constraint...

and the "mystery item" in the Collector's Edition has been revealed. It's a 48 page "journal" for "your space exploration notes." It could just be line paper for all I know....
Apparently the beginning of the game has been leaked (big surprise). Not watching. Obviously the team isn't so happy about it.
Still wondering about the actual PC release date though. The *updated* wording on the official website states PC has a worldwide launch on the 12th. Steam still says the 9th. This is been the question for days. Steam still hasn't changed its date. No clarifications.

Still go back and forth on being interested, I think I'd details real tired of mining to upgrade ship etc, and while the planets are all different the still same-ish you know.
Then I think how cool it would be to explore and see what you can find. Just is there enough interesting to see on the planets.
Really interested to read reviews and general reception from players.
