Whoops, here's some more details on the changes to Ranked and getting the Card Back. playhearthstone.com/en-us/blog/21469305You will be able to check your progress in the Quest Log. Unfortunately.... in Feb, you will still be required to reach Rank 20 to get the Card Back..... as the full changes aren't coming until March.

Ugh.... I wish I had recorded it, but I disabled my recording due to performance issue lately. I was just up against a Valeera (Rogue) who had a dormant 20/20 Legendary minion. It would shuffle cards into my deck and the minion would become active once like 3 of them were drawn or something like that. Eventually Valeera gets the "Draw 2 Cards" Murloc (because of course). Continues to copy and and draw cards for both of us repeatedly to get me to pull the cards as fast as possible. Well... Having a full hand destroys the drawn cards. It turns out that these "rogue" cards being destroyed, because my hand is too full, cancels their drawn effect of working to wake up the dormant minion. I was laughing so hard by the end of this.... I love failure Fatigue Rogues.... (Valeera).  |

Oh damnit.... Card Packs for Daily Quests until April 9th... playhearthstone.com/en-us/blog/21634714  Yeah, sorry, I ain't playin' that much Hearthstone.... Jeez...
At least I got 3 Kobolds packs from this Week's Tavern brawl. I wonder if it's linked to which portal dimension from this Tavern Brawl you win with first. Also, perhaps there will be 3 more packs for the next 2 weeks, I don't know.
Ridiculous the amount of packs their throwing out (in attempt to please people for making the game so expensive if you're competitive  ), but I'm not playing Hearthstone daily for those packs.
UUUGH, This month is rough.... and I knew it would be. This could be the first card back I haven't gotten since I started playing. Because I got to a higher rank than usual last month somehow (19, or maybe even 18? I forget), and with this month's transition, everyone, including that pile of rank 20s, got pulled down further. But I got higher than 20, and right now Rank 21 is really damned rough....  with how I play. Like, I don't even know if I'll be able to pull off the new requirement of 5 wins by the end of the month. The following months should/could be easier (but maybe not), but what about this month?....  |

Ben Brode has revealed that he is leaving Hearthstone/Blizzard... to start a new company.
I'm actually not too surprised, as he seemed rather anxious lately.

Um, on June 13th only, (a Wednesday), they're giving everyone that logs in a completely Golden Classic pack. playhearthstone.com/en-us/blog/21802981There's also other stuff and changes going on, but things where you have to play a lot (daily) to get more rewards. |
