I agree, down to 2 is pretty sad lol, but I do like hearing from you and man its been so long! It'd be great if your cousin joined and pc or playstation who cares. My 14 year old is more into pc too but only ever seen him post on the project zomboid forum. his interest in games ebbs and flows and definitely cares less about the big AAA releases than I do. I'll try though But yeah obviously I've been lacking in my posting at times too. despite missing the easygoing gaming chats I can survive if we do want to kill it totally. we can stay in touch on psn, YouTube, steam, email, etc. It's up to you man. No pressure or hurt feelings either way.

Of topic for just a moment, for some reason Proboards doesn't have the page numbers appear at the bottom, so I found a plugin so that it does. Almost didn't because it's called "Pagination" and doesn't come up in a search for "page" or "pages"... Not sure if it's better on the left or the right. The default top one is on the left, so I'll put in the left for now, but I can move it to the right. Also, lol, I've got a bit of a predicament.... Space, even though I'm probably already in the Admin group, can you make sure I (or the group) has access to editing the Shoutbox settings? I need it for a workaround for using custom smilies with the advanced Quick Reply plugin. If you'll notice, right now, that smiley (<-) from the full editor is the default smiley in the Quick Reply smiley box. If the Shoutbox isn't enabled (though it can be enabled and hidden), the advanced Quick Reply plugin can't grab the custom smiley.

i went to Admin-Settings-Shoutbox and enabled it. Strange we have different access as far as I can tell we are both Admin. Hopefully that works for what you're looking for!

Well, you didn't actually give me access to the Shoutbox's (Visual Editor) settings, but really I just needed the shoutbox enabled so I could then hide it with the shoutbox code, which... for some reason is in a completely different location in Admin pages, and still have the Quick Reply plugin grab the smileys. If you ever want the shoutbox visible again, just tell me. I'll probably grab some more of our old smileys when I need them. Thanks! I wish quick edit was doable on proboards, but I guess proboards doesn't work in a way where it's simple enough (or possible?) to make a quick edit plugin. I did just find a spoiler plugin though... Though, strangely, it works like the image embedder (with a separate window) instead of like the quote button. I wonder if there's a way to make the quote button not put spaces above and below the quote box.... That seems like too much. But... It only seems to do it if you've hit enter to a new line after your previous text, which... of course it natural when you want to add a quote box. It's so odd the way it behaves, and is very inconsistent. And of course I wish the preview mode functioned in the quick reply box and not just the BBCode mode...

I had to post on the support forums for help, but I shrunk the page numbers under the thread titles in the thread lists and changed the button colors so they aren't so dang eyecatching and ugly anymore. Once again there was no settings built in for changing just the thread titles or just the page numbers without messing with things elsewhere, so you had to add it yourself.
I also shrunk the post text (and editor text) back down because I feel it's quicker to read than how large it was before. I kind of feel like I want to cut down on how far to the right the text goes (without shrinking the page width) because it feels like quite a lot to read on one line. But it's gonna be kind of a pain in the butt to do completely.
Edit: I figured out the right spots to quickly cut down the posts and editing boxes on the right side... but sadly that also pushes the buttons and things on the top right to the left as well, which I was hoping it wouldn't. Then it looks ugly on top of having absolutely nothing on the right. Idk.... Maybe I'll figure out something sometime. For now.... maybe I'll cut down the forum width a little bit.

Switched to a different plugin to auto-embed image links, so you don't need to use the button (video auto-embed was enabled a while ago). And it also shrinks large images automatically and makes them clickable - without the text above the image like the other plugin had.

I felt that the little "NEW" icon next to thread names was kinda ugly, at least in this color scheme, as well as inconsistent. Because the board folder icons are able to display "NEW" instead of using a marker next to the name, why couldn't threads? Once again, this required more custom code and a workaround from one of the support members. There is no "NEW" icon capability for threads. So what he said I could do was put a "NEW" folder icon in the background of the normal folder icon, then tell it to hide the normal icon when there's a new post. This also required doing the same separately for sticky threads, which required that I make a new icon because an icon didn't exist for sticky threads. All I did was copy the thumb tack from the sticky thread icon and paste it on the NEW folder icon. Though I had to offset it a bit so it didn't block "NEW." (And I uploaded it to Ranks because I couldn't upload additional icons to the folders section... ) I'm glad it doesn't show the offset custom icon behind the the sticky thread icon. And one more line of code to disable the old "NEW" marker on threads. I'm hoping there won't be any issues, but I don't know yet.

Hi everyone! Jim has been kind enough to let me know on PSN that MGP has moved. I'm really sorry I have been inactive for a long time in the old forums. Life gets in the way of posting as usual and all my free time have been used for gaming and sleep Anywho really glad that the new forum is up and running great. Liking the brighter colours as well (always thought that old MGP is a bit gloomy, sorry space!). My only concern is are all the posts in the old forum unrecoverable? I don't know if you guys remember but I did a massive time trial test with all the vehicles in FUEL. Would be a shame to see it lost forever in the voids of the internet But anyway, hope new MGP can continue to prosper and we'll create another close knit community like before Till next time fellas! Welcome back to the forums, Legend. Hey, I finally just figured out how to get the text in board and forum list rows to stop resizing themselves when you hovered your mouse over them. (Visually annoying and more noticeable at larger scales). Of course it was settings that are not linked with 1 value, which I want to be linked, while others are linked with 1 value which I don't want to be linked. If I knew more about it, I'd probably go into the full code to link them up, but I don't know it confidently enough to do so. Also hoping I didn't mess anything up with some other settings I modified slightly, but I don't think I did anything major. Edit: lol Already found a slight issue I caused. Fixing... I hope. (Still haven't figured out what setting is making "EDIT REASON" so large on the Edit Post page, though... ) Edit2: Ah, got it... But I added a separate value for it, which I'm not sure that I should do, but I can't find the option in the visual editor that controls it. If you notice any visual issues anywhere on the site on your various devices (or, more specifically where the Post Quick Reply button is located), please tell me. I'm not 100% sure how the way I'm applying these settings scales to various resolutions.

Hey Legend! Good to hear from you. I sure know about life getting in the way of time to post! Yeah unfortunately all of the old forum posts are gone. I just couldn't keep justifying spending the money for hosting anymore...
Hope to see you around!
Jgr, I have not had any issues with the post buttons. I'm posting from my phone probably 90% of the time.

lol Just found out that after cleaning out my browser historys and such to try to fix login issues that still happen on the Microsoft support websites (still not even sure it's working this time...), the login system here no longer likes the "ä" in my name. Looks like I got it before it became restricted. (Intentionally or unintentionally, idk) but luckily, you can also log in by putting in your email instead of your username, even though it doesn't say so.
