Been enjoying rdr2 a lp or. Single player is great and online has been a blast the 2 times we went on.we actually got me, my son, and my daughter online together. Mostly its them 2 griefing me lol. Some expected interactions with others, some fun, some annoying, but you can escape easy and find you're own fun, the map is huge. Well send an invite if you're online when we are..usually would be a fri or sat night.

Still not there yet, and haven't started the game, but I was glad to see that roping other players online is actually a thing now.

www.gameinformer.com/2019/05/14/rockstar-outlines-the-future-of-red-dead-onlineWishful thinking anyways?.... Though I still haven't dived into Online yet because I just spent a week hunting down a damned Cedar Waxwing bird, which turns out seems to be almost impossible to find on the ground (on rocks and other perches that are the easiest to look for for birds). And yet I'm rather certain I did once, though it still could've been hidden as I probably not intentionally spooked and "studied" one as it flew away while I was riding my horse sometime still in the middle of the game. Because I not once found one perched in one of the couple of places people have marked out on the map. I finally gave up, stood on a rock for several in-game days to spot them in a direction in the sky. Either people have actually not yet found the best places that they actually perch, or Rockstar overlooked it and a flaw with their animal spawning and behavior system, because almost everyone uses Dead Eye to randomly shoot things and birds. I have chosen not to in my single player playthrough. That wouldn't be the first example of something they overlooked. Like playing through the entire game with no minimap or in first person....
My other complaint with the game is that they have a player and horse wellness system. (They even secondarily call it "survival".) I turned it off on my hud, though I could manually check it at any time. Didn't want to (as well as playing in first person.) They are so damned scared of punishing or annoying the normal player that you can beat the entire game with both you and your horse at the worst health possible. I completely ignored it, though I wanted it to be meaningful, because the "punishment" for not taking care of yourself or your horse is so mild that you can actually completely ignore it. Ugh.
And on a similar topic of which they are so god damned scared of actually making any consequence for the player that you almost never are left without your horse or without a horse. Literally, the only times I was actually left with just my saddle was when I had my horse(s) hit by a train. Any other death, it gave me a free horse. And not one I was stealing. It was there for me. God damnit, Rockstar....
And taming/breaking in a horse takes a max of 5-10 seconds. Even shorter than the original game, and braindead easy (never failed one). And then it takes less than 5 minutes (or maybe only even only a couple) before the horse is "yours" and fully accepting of you. You don't even get to your destination in that time.... It's so pointless. And them giving you a free horse made the story moment almost completely meaningless to me because I had this horse I didn't obtain myself for 5 minutes.

lol I may have taken 18,000 / 48GB worth of photos in my travels in RDR2....
Maybe I shouldn't have switched to PNG format.... but they're less than 5 MB each...
Of course it took several hours to copy it from the PS4 to a flash drive, but only about 20 minutes to copy it to my computer. Because why, Sony?.... At least they didn't take hours to "delete".
Oh and btw... the RDR2 Online update is 6GB.
Man, I don't want to be forced to get a new laptop-sized hard drive needed for the PS4, but....

RDR2 is actually coming to Steam on December 5th. Let me guess, it's just a shortcut to the R* Launcher.
