So we started this last week, in VR. We rented it to check it out and loved it so much we bought it and I NEVER buy horror games lol. I can't even describe how well VR is implemented. No motion sickness for my son or me, really good visuals, great tracking. Just really well. The game itself has excellent atmosphere, some good scares, good exploration. Nice simple premise.
Mostly my son has played while we watch on the TV. PSVR social screen on the TV is brilliant! However, I did give it a go for a bit last week, and then started my own save last night.
Game itself seems it would be good to play the old fashioned way too, but definitely VR makes it a whole other level of experience.

Finished up the story mode, all in VR. Really a ton of fun, and a great experience. And I don't usually play scary games! I finished the last 2/3 pretty much by myself, the rest of the family didn't want to watch, my son says he'll get back to it soon. So actually I ended up enjoying both the party type atmosphere with everyone else watching and laughing at you and also just running alone with the game. Both were good experiences. I'm contemplating the DLC pass as it really was cool, and is a huge justification for the PSVR.
