Day 1
1 Valve map, and 5 Community maps. (of which, they made it pretty difficult to grab the images for).
2 Valve taunts, and 5 Community taunts.
Wait.... This isn't really just a theme, is it?..... I mean, somehow there's still 3 more days to go, but so far all we know is that the Valve map is just a CP map.
The Yeti Punch taunt is pretty dumb, even if it holds to the theme. But wait... What happened to the Pyro ass flame taunt??....
I was pretty excited at the start of the short, but really.... this was pretty underwhelming. At least we finally got an official Saxton Hale appearance. Long overdue. Is that really Nolan again?..... (I'm actually not sure, but meh.) And Scout's voice acting has hit a new low. I mean, it wasn't great in Expiration Date either, but it somehow fit almost completely. (also noticing that they never put the End of the Line video on the website). And no Pauling in this short, even though she appears in an SFM screenshot at the bottom of the page.
I guess we still don't know for sure yet, but.... are they not actually doing a "Fight Saxton Hale/Yeti" mode?.... (which has been a community mode for a long time). I mean, holy hell, But there is a Mammoth sign behind the Yeti sign near the start. What Hale says at the end is so disappointing..... But Wait a second..... Pyro has a fuckin Jetpack?!!! Is that All Class? I mean, Pyro can already jump to ledges that some of the other classes can't get to easily (other than Soldier, Demo, and Scout). And it would absolutely be a Secondary replacement if it was only for Pyro.
Oh yeah lol.... Where is that Pyro Update exactly?.....
Also, I mean, they were pushing it before, but I believe this is easily the closest major update (updates?) ever to Halloween. That's just gonna feel.... weird. If they even put them out in Casual at all this year that is.
Now to check out the Rocket League Halloween event.
If there's a way to trigger it currently, I don't see how it's possible that there's no group of people that have looked into this.
