PSX 2017

Different PSX presentation this year. This year they've gone much more for simple to very long-form interviews with the devs, and with Sean and Yoshida. And of course, Kojima was in there as well.

They decided to show the same Death Stranding trailer from The Game Awards, with no extension, which was kind of a strange thing to do, but whatever. Then they, at least attempted to, talk about how the new Kojima came to be with Playstation, with some nice little stories in there. Also, before that, another mention/half-goodbye from House, who, along with all the others, has been with Playstation since the PS1.

Got so see some more footage of some more Dreams story gameplay, which is nice, as well as impressive. Though, lacking interview time with her. (We'll be getting more tomorrow.) But even so, it was rather annoying that they cut away from the footage for a non-minuscule amount of time to only show the camera of them sitting on stage.

This year's intentional Sean T-shirt reveal was.... a MediEvil remaster. I mean I've seen mentions of that game a few times this year from fans on rare occasions, but really?.... How popular was it actually? I don't know. It got 2 PS1 games, and even a PSP game, which might've not been great. I'm not sure.

I guess I wasn't expecting another Crash (Racing) or Vicarious Visions reveal or tease already, but come on... I mean, it's probably Spyro, but I do want Crash Team Racing.

The Last Guardian 20-min VR experience releasing for Free next week. Trico's definitely taken a hit, visually, but it should definitely still be pretty crazy to experience.

Wipeout VR Update to the Collection I believe coming in the Spring. And.... It actually looks pretty nuts. Maybe even better than you'd expect.

And there was some pretty trailers for some other small stuff in the middle there as well.

It might still not actually happen, but Greg Miller again pressured Sean about PSN Name changes. There might.... be something that could happen this year. But still maybe not. It was actually pretty hard to tell if it was a tease or not. Almost seemed like maybe it still won't be technically possible/doable? Do not know.

Since PS isn't putting it up themselves....
