Growing tired of losing all my controls except for movement and consumables in the middle of combat....
Also, fall damage is kind of a bitch in this game. Just learning now, from where I found this video, that if you jump as soon as you land, you'll roll... DOES THE GAME EVER TELL YOU THAT?!
As for losing controls in combat, I think there's a bug where, even though you'll go into combat stance, at times the combat transition is buggy and you end up stuck with non-combat controls while you're in combat, so your attacks are disabled.
Water physics (Also drawbridge drawn and not drawn)

Oh my gosh, I love that video of the goose walking in the house. I know I haven't put nearly the time in as you have and I'm playing on the easier difficulty, so I haven't found some of the same frustrations. I'm searching for Ciri near Velum and just caught up with Keira the witch, now we are chasing down the symbols in the cave.
I can't imagine not having the meditation give you health. I need that.
No, it's really not as bad as it seems (so far). Because, like I said, I wait for a road for my own challenge, meditate which fills my health potion using hard alcohol. Haven't run out of hard alcohol in a while and I've grown a fairly large food buffer for use after I've used the potion 3 times. I've been going through it and more food lately, but I think it's just a bit of carelessness and anxiousness when taking out the groups of enemies now. Not playing it safe as much. Damn drowners and foglets hit hard... Easy to take out 1 at a time because you hit faster than they can, which cancels their attack most of the time, but that's rare and a group is a pain in the ass, especially when they hit so hard. I've been switching up my spell usage, just for the sake of mixing it up, but man Quen makes patience and combat so much easier... even though I know they're "vulnerable" to Igni flame... somewhat.
I also have built up to 2k-3k coins, not including the crazy amount I think I have in gold or whatever that you can exchange at the bank because I haven't been to the bank in forever. So lack of stock has been more of a problem than actually paying for repair kits... plus the dang travel time. I'm always hoping to find a better weapon or armor piece if my stuff is damaged and I'm out of repair kits, but that almost never seems to happen.
Don't spoil too much of the story for me. I'm wandering around doing everything else other than the story so far.

But what about losing combat controls....
lol Their vBulletin forums have a right-click quote plugin like ours. Is there no free vBulletin service? I don't see that they offer it.
I lost combat controls too! All of a sudden all I could do was punch these demon dog things...then after awhile my sword came back..thankfully I was able to recover..
Nah, being able to punch isn't the same issue I'm talking about I don't think. But that punching issue happens when you start attacking while outside of the combat mode zone, most likely initiating with the crossbow first, and then you're stuck with fists until you stop swinging for a moment and he hopefully pulls out a weapon.
What happens to me is I have no use of "attack" (left click) whatsoever. If I remember correctly, I can't dodge or roll either, only sprint away. Basically I can do what ever you have access to in non-combat. I have access to bombs, spells and the crossbow, but that's not really good enough for combat.
