I think the crazy thing is that this is also current gen, I believe? Then again we've had Apex and Fortnite and whatnot...
It's gonna be mostly BR, isn't it? I always crave larger battlefields even after I know how Planetside 2 plays out. Yet/And I think I will mess Conquest if this is BR? (I'm gonna guess Conquest will exist still.) I'm not certain how long I will play really if this is mainly BR. Even though I've actually played little BR, believe it or not.
At least part of it will be free, right? It likely ain't gonna be great on my PC. Of course I've been craving going back to console Battlefield, but we'll have to see how the current existence of aim assistance will turn me off. Crossplay?
Wait a minute....... It's not Battle Royale? It's a mode called Hazard Zone and is not Battle Royale apparently. Also, there is no Story Campaign either.
Current Gen is 64 players, Next Gen is 128.
There's gonna be official (and UNOFFICIAL) bots in all matches aren't there...
Conquest does still exist.
Actually Hazard Zone is a different mode from "All-Out Warfare". There's also some other secret to be revealed next month, even though we're getting gameplay this weekend. (Titan Mode?)
A part of me is also curious if they're going to bring the BC guys / voice actors into this for some fun. Hopefully more than a tiny Easter Egg.

Ok, wtf, It's full price ($70 for next gen) AND has some undescribed yearly pass!  Yeah, fucking sorry. That's a pass for me. Are they doing this because EA has flopped on F2P Battlefield SO many times before? Even though Apex is successful? That and even with all the emails, they never told me Knockout City was free to keep for early players - it's not really anymore.
lololol The PS Store page info says it supports up to 99 players with PS+. It's higher than that on Next Gen, but I have a feeling they couldn't type in a number over 2 digits.  Not only that it says "Dualshock 4 Vibration" on the PS5 page.
God damned I'm disappointed. Because a gameplay trailer/footage isn't going to make me get it.
Ah, of course. The Passes are cosmetic items to progress through. People who don't pay extra for the pass might get a few things?  |

I don't know - me and my kids got pretty hyped from the trailer lol! Happy to see the return to current/near future time period. We almost always just play Conquest so if that is there, we're in. Battle packs don't bother me if just cosmetic, way happier to have that there and all the maps free versus the old days of having to get the season pass for the new maps throughout the year. We can just buy base game versions and get new maps. Of course I've never been one to muck around too much with upgrades let alone cosmetics. Hell I usually end up using the base gun all the time - I'm too lazy and menus lately confuse me more than anything. Like even comparing two weapons is a hassle it seems (also I'm old and impatient). I just do the best I can and enjoy the chaos haha.
Not too fussed about the lack of single player. I never did play all of the SP for 3 and 4, but I actually really enjoyed the campaigns for 1 and V - the episodes and time period were cinematic with awesome music and everything. Really enjoyable, but the modern day stuff is less appealing for SP but more appealing for MP. Who knows?!
Hope to have PS5s by then cause the visual treat and bigger maps/more players sounds awesome. But I'm sure we'd have a great time on PS4 too. Heck, we've been having a blast with Zombie Army 4 so maybe we just need a decent game to have a few laughs, which is pretty great.

128 people will likely be chaos. Though I think of MAG and how many people were on that game and I felt there was good teamwork and strategy in the area you were fighting in, and just knowing there was other stuff going on. I suppose since I only play Conquest usually, maybe I'll bounce between a couple points and not go across huge maps..
Bots are ok to fill out I suppose if the AI is decent, but I'd prefer to know what's a bot and what's not. Probably on PS5 will be lots of bots in those big matches, but likely better than waiting too long to get a match. Especially if they let in more players during the match and replace bots.

checking out old maps from BC2 and BF3 should be pretty cool! Really looking forward to this. You should be able to get a physical copy on sale during the holidays I assume.
