So I got this partly because I'm a sucker for a great idea of a game, including the atmosphere, locales, time period etc. But the thing that sold me on it finally was the Assist Mode in this type of game. I put my damage to a reduction of 75% vs. normal, reduced my cooldown period or whatever, set it so I don't lose my points when I die, and I'm really enjoying it. Still dying a couple times so obviously I'd be in bad shape on "Normal". So what if I don't earn some trophies. What a great compromise and it made a sale on the game I would have passed on due to the "Soulslike" stuff. Fun combat, great atmosphere. cool!
