Finally got the Fire power in my Umbrella run, with some grinding to cool down in between attempts but no upgrades because they're so fucking expensive (for almost nothing). I gotta remember that it's aggression that gets you killed/hit in these games. But the sheer amount of shit and bullshit it throws at you in boss fights is incredibly difficult to avoid.
ugh, I'm sure I won't be able to get the shards without more of the Powers again still anyways. Grinding for micro upgrades feels pointless and you're not allowed to get the more important upgrades because those are blocked behind having to get powers from boss fights.

Also, the Powers are mostly Counter to how the combat plays, because you can't fucking stop to charge a power attack.....

The Chest battle for the Bomb power was surprisingly easy this time, but not before all the ambush fights for the Crow souls. Some spots annoying. Especially those armored guys with a shield and hammer. They might be one of the most annoying enemies in the game. You can't attack first, you have to have them do a 2 hammer swing to get a gap to attack, but sometimes they only do 1 swing (in which it's probably not safe), AND they fucking toss shit at you. But I cheesed one of the ambush locations because you can get them to walk into the water which they're not supposed to be able to do.

Christ, the boss fight for the Arrow upgrade is so hard with the Umbrella, even with all my shards. Why was it so much harder than the other 3 Power Upgrades even with fewer shards? Now I've got Soul grinding or Soul Orb collecting, but also the 3 Giant Bosses. [I'd better remember to get the missable trophies for 2 of them or I'll be pissed.] It's probably going to suck, but I'm probably going to grind the final micro upgrades before doing the Giants. And then it's another 2 final bosses immediately after that.
Also, for some reason those jumping Boomerang guys take an insane amount of hits with the Umbrella. Usually they're pretty easy.
I feel like the Bosses are going to be impossible with the Umbrella, even maxed out. Especially the frickin' Yeti... and maybe/probably the Final Final Boss.

God Damn, I Just went through all 3 Dungeon sections in a row without doing their bosses and I STILL have over 5500 Souls to grind to max out my stats.  The best place to grind souls has exactly 25 souls. I HAVE TO DO THIS 220 TIMES!!!!!
How much you wanna bet I'm gonna forget to do the 2 missable trophies I need for 2 of the Bosses?

The Frog King is (still) pretty easy with maxed stats and an Umbrella. Feeding him bombs probably helped (Missable Trophy). But would definitely be a lot quicker with the best weapon, not the worst. Other boss fights will not be easy, and I have 4 more in a row.  |

Ok, Setting Grandma Witch's Pot on Fire is actually harder than feeding the Frog King a bomb because you have to shoot flame into the small hole of her rotating pot while keeping your distance. But I keep forgetting that the Witch is normally supposed to come before the Frog King, so she's pretty easy to get through.
But The Yeti's next and I know it's going to be a fucking nightmare  |

Yeti is still very hard, but still doable with an Umbrella and max stats. It's really all about dexterity. Trying to get a hit in while not getting hit yourself. Mid range is actually the best location to avoid her roll attack, not close range, or far. I also noticed that, unless she's starting a roll attack, she always does at least 1 melee attack after a jump attack, which is a space for a Power attack. There's a lot of ways to get hits on her, but it's really difficult, to get through without getting hit the 6 times. Let alone just the 4 I think I had when I first did her.
I still don't know if she had a missable trophy like the other 2 Giant Bosses do?

The 2nd to last Boss is easy if you're patient and use the fire spell. Still a bit long, though.
The last Boss is going to be a fucking nightmare, though. I did that one with max stats the first time with the best weapon and it really fucking sucked.

[Not THAT easy, but... still] The umbrella is extremely weak (of course), but the Bomb is BY FAR the strongest attack. my god, that almost doesn't seem right how easy it was for me this time even though I did it with the most powerful melee weapon the first time.
GOT THE PLATINUM.I'm probably going to finish 100%ing this save again, but I don't want to. Getting and planting all the seeds again is gonna suck. I think there's also 1 more post end-game Chest battle as well. and I don't actually remember everything else, lol. Collecting all the Things ugh Lengthy Youtube video item-finding again.......
oh actually lol, I'm only missing 3 items.  And just picking up the weapons I intentionally didn't pick up of course. But the seeds are going to take a long time. |

lol If the Squid can't use doors, then why does it exit a Door with you after you die? I thought dying would return him back to his start.
I also had him with me while battling the gravedigger. I was hoping he might say something about the gravedigger, but he didn't.

FUUUUUUUCK. I'm missing 1 of the 50? Planters and I don't think it's indicating where the fuck it is!!!!

Ok, few, nvm. I got Lucky. I thought the glowing Camp of the Free Crows door was for the seed planter. It's probably not, it's still glowing for the secret ending. BUT, I watched a video that had a timestamp for the Camp of the Free Crows and there's 1 out at the beginning of the tower-like area you use to get to the Camp of the Free Crows. (Not the Watchtowers).
Few.... Now to End this thing Again.
(Still have no clue why the door for the Graveyard was glowing for longer than it should have)

And Done. I've Platinum'd and 100%'d Death's Door Twice.
7/10. But it really could have used better navigability as well as Navigability tools for the Completionists. I got REALLY lucky that I "found" that last seed planter so quickly.
Man, I do not believe these times..... 2:41 for my first playthrough? How is that possible? 3:24 for my second playthrough even with the extra grinding and weaker weapon? I started August 7th and played for hours every few days so wtf? Right? These aren't clock times. i don't fuckin' know

OMG After 6 Min there's a Soul Orb I NEVER FOUND..... after 2 100% Playthroughs
Actually maybe I did find it on the first playthrough. Definitely not the second. It already feels like a million years ago and it wasn't even 2 months ago
Also even the speedrunner didn't want the most expensive Strength upgrade.
