The original 3 Tomb Raider games are getting "remasters" on Steam, free to those who actually already own them on Steam (unsure if you get to keep the original version). Potentially the worrying part is that it's done by the company that did the mobile ports (don't know how well that went). But it will include OpenVR support.

Steam has just defaulted everyone's owned games and recent activity to private, or at least Friends Only. This has the sad side effect that Steam Spy, which is not nefarious and was generally used to judge game sales and playerbase, can no longer function. You can change the setting in your profile's privacy settings, if you want to.
Actually, what does Steam Charts use? I'm a little confused.
Maybe Charts is fine (idk yet), but Steam Spy was usable for more detailed analysis on specific games per player.

Oh god damnit.... I just realized that them making playtime default to private makes it quite a bit harder to tell for sure if someone is legitimately a cheater in TF2... or any game.

It might say that it's developed by Valve though, not sure. I think some of the recent partnerships have kept a separate dev name, but published by Valve, but I'm not sure which way they're doing it. |
