I finished Ori and the Blind Forest tonight. I thought it was pretty fantastic. At least the visual style definitely is. I can't compare the gameplay to other metroidvania-style games because I've never played any, but it was pretty good. store.steampowered.com/app/261570/

Full backtracking support? hmm. (original doesn't let you go back to some places to collect the rest of the little bits). Sounds like previous owners can get it or $5. Sadly, I think it's unlikely that we'll be able to transfer our old saves to it, even on Steam, so... Of course, I uninstalled it because I really needed space at the time.... God I REALLY wish Steam required a unified save file location... which it still doesn't because "PC." I doubt it, but who knows, maybe it did back up my save for the game.

Definitive Edition is out on PC today. $5 for those who own the normal edition, but not compatible with your old saves...

Those who already owned Ori previously finally got a Steam coupon for 75% off the Definitive Edition.
The Definitive Edition also has an added free dlc "additional soundtrack" of some more stuff. MP3 though....
