I could have sworn that I saw episodes that were 3D CG. But I can't believe that I can't find any info on that whatsoever... .
But apparently they did switch to Flash animation in 2012 when it switched production companies... Which is meant to cut corners and production time since it doesn't require redrawing every frame by hand... and looks rather poor.... not that the younger ones would know the difference.
And apparently, Cookie Jar, the previous company, kept having its higher-ups arrested on many various financial charges, fraud, etc all the way from 2000-2014 when it was then finally acquired by another production company (not affiliated with Arthur).
Arthur and DW have had new voice actors every few years since the start, but surprisingly, all the main friends, except for Brain, have had the same voice actors since the start (19 seasons). The parents, grandparents, Mr Ratburn, the other teachers, and the librarian have also all had the same voice actors since the beginning. Oh, the reason why Arthur, DW, Brain, and the Tibble twins keep getting new voice actors is because they're actually played by kids.

Ha, yeah I know it's still on and still a staple in our house. My older son laments the newer animation but I had not understood what changed until you just explained it.
Interesting about the voice actors. I hadn't known those few were changing due to being actual kids, they all sound the same to me.
We did watch the vid. Nicely done but could've been better without the violence imo. Still impressive though!
GTA is getting Freemode events next week (along with the cinema mode or whatever it's called from PC). They trigger every 12 minutes instead of having somebody start them like impromptu races, which... never happen because nobody joins invites anyways.
Why the heck is this happening next week....
Now it's gonna be even harder to get people into jobs, yay...
