Dayumn!... Slightly Mad Studios (Project Cars) just sent me $54 for "being apart of the development team." And I didn't do crap... I knew this was going to happen because that was apart of the deal, but this was practically the entire thing back! Maybe even more. I don't even remember at this point which tier I signed up for. It might have been $45... but I didn't contribute at all... I was expecting maybe a couple bucks out of it and didn't even consider it as a real factor when I signed up all those years ago.
I guess they made their money back (maybe barely).
I'm just not sure if they'll have quite the same luck again on the next one.

Got another $30 from Project Cars. Oh baby...
Unfortunately perhaps, I did miss the signup for Project Cars 2 backing. They actually, smartly I guess, didn't email everybody about it and only announced it on the forums to lessen the noise of the masses who weren't really going to work on it themselves. At least, supposedly... But I'm probably going to be skipping over Project Cars 2 anyways. The Crew is more my thing.... and is a very big game....

Ok, so maybe I've lost track a bit of how this has gone, but Codemasters has now bought Slightly Mad (Project Cars), after the Onrush/Evo/Motorstorm devs left after the failure of Onrush to join Slightly Mad Studios. So all once again back at Codemasters. What.
Oh yeah, also you might remember the "Mad Box" console announced by Slightly Mad a little while ago?

Development of the Project Cars series has stopped now that they (Slightly Mad) were bought by Codemasters and then Codemasters was bought by EA. Devs have moved elsewhere in EA.
