Still learning new things as I close in on knowing everything that is known about Red Dead Redemption 2. (As far as I'm willing to read into it anyways.... which is already insane.) Turns out the Donkey Lady (skeleton) wasn't alone in her inclusion as a reference to the viral glitches of RDR1. They even actually also included the Cougar Man from the previous/first glitch video from that same Youtube channel! There's a very hidden treehouse next to the road that cuts straight down to the San Luis River south of Macfarlane Ranch. He'll yell at you to go away in a shrill voice from his tiny tree house. You can't see him unless you shoot out the bottom planks that he's standing on (not obvious). He'll fall and die if you do. He's got cat-shaped eyes, flaired nose, and a cleft lip. Of course..... But also... possibly right next to him there's apparently a shirtless sun worshiper dude that can spawn there and/or at a bunch of cliff edges (12) in New Austin. Never frickin' seen him and I didn't see him today. Don't know for sure yet if he spawns randomly or if it's in the specific order of 12 places that some websites indicate. The first being right by the Cougarman. Anyways, also, it turns out... if you weren't really paying close enough attention - The guy who sends you to find all those odd rock carvings of different landmarks in future history (including aliens), Francis Sinclair.... well he was in fact a time traveler. The kid of his wife who you find alone with in her shack has the same name (Francis). I believe in that shack is (along with the other stuff from history) a drawing of him hauling his time machine in a wagon. - You know that burnt tree and wagon site back behind Fort Mercer in New Austin before you reach the Del Lobo Rock cliff edge? Yup. Otherwise it's completely unmarkable (on the map) and unexplained (not even the fan-edited wiki mentions it). The forest fire south of Valentine is just a forest fire because that's where you got the Fire Bottle recipe from the burnt out campsite. The burnt trees on top of the mountain in Roanoke is a lightning strike and you can cause one to strike and kill you during a lightning storm if you wear the Viking gear and raise the Viking Hatchet in the air. But I infuriatingly haven't been able to be there during the often extremely short and rare lightning storms. I can keep going with a few other things, but they're all dead ends as far as anyone has been able to figure out. It's frustrating, man. I don't think anything at all of consequential importance has been discovered in well over a year. 2?

Ok, I might be feeling like saying "Holy Shit" is too premature here.... but Apparently Gertrude, the girl with the cleft lip locked in the outhouse behind Braithwaite Manor, which I missed before she died, counts out numbers. Or tries to. (News to me.) She sporadically says a bunch of existing and higher numbers, but also does a count to 5 only once? Before the second part of her loop starts again. The Strange Man's channel has begun milking it, as there's been like nothing discovered in like 2 years. But he's the least egregiously (or intentionally) abusive channel that "covers" RDR2 by far. This must have been known long beforehand (right?) but I know there's the Pentagram that glows underneath the shack in Butcher Creek at 4AM, but there's also 5 Outhouses that circle Butcher Creek too - with tally marks numbering them. (This I didn't know.) The glowing pentagram is also not in the center of this Outhouse Pentagram, nor Butcher Creek - I believe the center is that main building...... that can't be entered. As (pointlessly or not?) pointed about by The Strange Man (youtube channel video), Gertrude's outhouse faces Butcher Creek way the fuck away. (It also points inward from the shoreline / edge of the map, so whoopty doo?) and has a moon on it. (outhouses had moons on them for some reason.) He also points out beliefs that people with cleft lips were possessed (of course). We can't get in Gertrude's outhouse. I'm sure somebody's glitched her to Butcher Creek, right? as I think they may have done with the Cave "Devil" Guy, among other.... things. How about Cougar Man? He's got a cleft lip. Donkey Lady? (idk if her body could have been moved and it disappears forever). Is there an even larger pentagram we haven't traced on the map? (Like the Buffalo/bull.) If Gertrude and the Cougar Man (and Donkey Lady?) were connected, they're at very far ends of the map and would stretch out a Pentagram drawing to something that I don't think would make sense. You can access Cougar Man's body, but not Gertrude's as far as anyone knows. (And again, Donkey Lady disappears.) And also remember that there's that attempted Frankenstein animal creature too.
I mean there's so many spots and ways you could think to try to draw a pentagram, even though there isn't one / wasn't intended to be one. Hell, several of the main cities are laid out on the map like that - which would put the center either over Flat Iron Lake (the whole southern edge of the map) or just above it. (The abandoned Trading Post? The hill above it?)

man, just reading through all this is crazy. So much in the game, some of it half baked. I hope the cleft palate references aren't meant to be mean or making fun of it.

I mean, there is a missable mission where you can ride past Gertrude with a lady - Penelope, who's Gertrude's cousin who says she tried to help her and that it's painful for her to see, while she's in there. Then Arthur disgustedly reacts to how Braithwaites treat not only other people, but their own family. Rockstar has held a little more towards the "terribleness" of people with RDR2, but as with most big titles - games, movies, otherwise, it doesn't go further.
"Terrible" people hate heavyhandedness. Even those in control. The irony of the world I guess.
(Holy crap, they're actually shutting down GTA V Online on PS3/360 in December.... which is right after the next gen launch of it.)

Sigh, I've found pretty much everything known about the game at this point. There's (at least) 4 alien sightings painted on rocks in different locations, of course around Mount Shann, each with a moon phase, except..... the first phase is on 2 of them. They made the 2nd half (3rd phase?) mostly* obvious, so why is the 1st phase on 2 of them? No one's known to have triggered anything in relation to these paintings. But of course there's the 2 meteorites that can be found (labeled #2 and #3), the UFO at the shack (1 time), and the miniature ufo that nobody knows what to do with that shows up on top of Mount Shann at night. The 2 panoramic maps that trace out the cities, one from Mount Shann and the other from Twin Rocks in New Austin, even though it's also drawn on Mount Shann for some reason. (No aliens spotted at Twin Rocks either.) What about that damned Serpent Mount in southern Roanoke? Or the Viking shit? The other ritual sites / pentagrams. So many questions still.....
And of course Princess IKZ.
Bigfoot / Sasquatches.....

So it seems that the only known secret about the suspicious, boisterous, Mayor of Strawberry is that he ran away from Princeton, and his family, with his gay lover - highly likely the Welcome Center clerk.

Why is there no Native camp here next to Macfarland's Ranch in RDR2?
I kind of / almost completely forgot that there were corpses at Bear Claw originally in RDR2. One of those places where the corpses disappear after the first time you've been there? And if you missed them, you missed them.

Well I finally got the Lion's Paw Trinket...... in an empty Compendium in a new Save at least partial playthrough...... As I work on getting an unrelated Trophy that I missed. Also trying to see some things I missed along the way, but that might take longer than this frickin' Trophy. I wonder if I'm going to try to check out these missed things AND THEN (??) go for a COMPLETE Compendium from a currently nearly empty one? (If I haven't even screwed that up in some other way already.) But that might be way too much - Yes probably is, particularly with hunting/fetchquest gear. BECAUSE I ALSO HAVE TO GET ALL GOLD IN ALL REPLAYABLE MISSIONS FOR THE ACTUAL LAST SINGLE PLAYER TROPHY. (and almost the other half are Online, which is going to be dead by then.) Yeah I'm likely going to have to not do a Complete Compendium. At least it didn't have a Trophy associated with it, but it's too much (far too much?) to do again. I'm gonna have to check my Rockstar profile on their website. I'm curious what it looks like now? AH...... The Compendium on the Website erases itself with another Save. So it's mostly blank with my new Save. It's got my Lion's Paw Though! ..... I'm curious if it syncs only with the Autosave, and if I get an autosave (which of only 1 is kept) by loading my old manual saves, it'll switch the website back to the old Compendium. Pointless, but just a curiosity.
(another pic of out of bounds at the edge of the map a while ago)
