that info about the giant is awesome. A missed opportunity to flesh out something more cool. The thing is I miss all of these cool easter eggs because I pretty much do little wandering around other than if to get to side missions or whatever. I really wish I had the time to just meander around and find cool stuff. Like you I would have missed the flying birds. I definitely need to smacked upside the head with info in games as I'm not observant. I spent an extra 5-10 minutes this morning trying to get into a small building in AC Valhalla because I didn't look up and see an opening above me hahaha.

Keep getting the permanently stuck weather glitch. It always seems to be from the NE corner. Someone randomly mentioned consistently****  ? triggering it repeatedly just by going from Butcher Creek to Annesburg. But I don't know if Annesburg is really related. Then he said it (his weather stuck on rain) cleared up after leaving Annesburg after a huge amount of time, but not specifically where it cleared up. For me the only time that it was really fucking obvious that it got unstuck was crossing the river up the path directly out front of Beecher's Hope / John's Ranch. But it's only gotten unstuck for me one time. Remember I even went up into the snowy region with it still raining and messed up. But anyways the additional uncertainty with Butcher Creek is that I pass through it or by it constantly because of where it frickin is. You supposedly solve the mystery of Butcher Creek by meeting with the jackass (Native American?) who knows about the mine that's poisoning the river - and setting up all those dreamcatchers? And yes I've gotten the Arrow Head out of the cave after locating all of them. He's long gone since then. Oh but wait. There's a pentagram in the floorboards of that busted up shack at the Northern end of Butcher Creek - that still glows at 4AM every night. No one knows...... BUT THIS WEATHER ISSUE IS FRICKING ANNOYING!!!!! Especially when several things depend on or affected by the weather in this game.
What I though and/or think it could be (which ik is really damned strange) is that I've been mostly certain still that this only happens when my controller is plugged in. The USB ports are not great - on the controller or otherwise. As sucky as this is, I've only had controller disconnections happen (in RDR2) while it's plugged in. And then... oh hey..... my weather's stuck?
Well yet again my weather's gotten stuck..... while having plugged in my controller to charge it, though a while afterwards. But this time it's stuck but I haven't been given a "your controller disconnected" issue/message.
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.
Oh btw, another confirmation of this controller theory is somebody noticed that, as this kept happening to them, they'd instantly be dropped out of Red Dead Online. Everyone who bothered to reply thought he was crazy. Of course. That's just seems to be how it works.... most of the time. You get the contrarian reply(s), which is only really/more obvious when it's clear they really don't know what they're talking about on the topic, yet say their bullshit anyways (no matter how obvious, or pointlessly idiotic, what they say is).
And then there's this..... (Oh yeah and remember that the Dreamcatcher Task stays in your Task List and this is how far we've gotten.)

There's actually too many stories like this in the game. The ghost across the river from Pleasance. The girl with the cleft lip at Braithwaite Manor that they locked inside a chained up outhouse to die (I never even knew about it until after she was dead - I mean the place is mostly off limits for most of the game yet she could've been seen there before she was locked up.) The Gunsmith in Rhodes that locks a boy that resembles his dead son in his basement after his son fell into a river from a gun recoil while he was teaching him to shoot (You can help the boy escape.). Hell, there's even one in Emerald Ranch - The mean household owner there has his daughter locked inside after he shot and killed her boyfriend. (She could be seen in a window, but I haven't/hadn't seen her.)

only one I knew of was the girl in Emerald Ranch. I was annoyed I couldn't do anything and then hoped it would play out later in a mission but nope

lol It was the last one I knew about, while looking things up.
Unfortunately this didn't actually come up when searching for, but this is strangely the first/only RDR2 Survival mod I found for PC? Since search didn't find it, I don't know WHO is going to find it....
It was first released Nov 2020 and last updated in January.
