JackFrags has a lot more details that were not given at the reveal.
health has more regen stages
health/ammo and revive interaction
server-side synced ragdolls that can be grabbed, all classes can revive, but med is faster and others don't give full health.
timed ledge gabbing
spotting changes?
spawn with less ammo
recoil changes (not sure if I like?), shooting while jumping maybe vaulting?
bullet penetration again
dive in any direction, shoot on your back, big delay before you can shoot
crouch sprint
tall grass gets knocked down, vaulting through windows should be smoother
toss back grenades, can also catch or shoot them, but less grenade spam overall apparently
can tow things with vehicles? like AA guns, supplies, etc
destruction might be better/more believable (heard that before)
emphasizing squad spawning/play (sounds like even forcing it, but not really)
squad leaders can call in strikes/weapon (replacing elite classes)/supply drops
squad only vehicles?
no behemoths
explosions can knock you over even if they aren't fatal. cool, but oh boy.
Fortification construction expectedly and disappointingly has set spots they can go, also a rebuild of a destroyed building as a fort.

Wasn't thrilled or hyped by reveal trailer, but some of the write up there and what I've read sound interesting. Lots coming in September and October. ..not sure what we'll do..happy to hear no premium pass even if it means less overall maps or whatever.

Still feels very BF1, though maybe with some improvements. (pacing?) Still not sure this will hold my interest that long after I've played it some. I never played BF1 on console (or even BF4 for that matter, after BF3), but I'd assume that it still handles more like the change to BF3 that I could not play, as the joystick handling switched from what it was in BC2 and earlier to something more CoD-like. Which is where I switched over to PC, losing any sensation that controller rumble gives you. Any potential for free play time on console at all? I don't know... or will the cheapest option be a subscription (if it allows 1 month). The changes in options from EA have kind of lost me.
Oh yeah, and I don't have PS+ anymore.... Fuuuck!!!...

EA is clueless. My mother had an account created with her name and payment details, even though she had no connection with EA. I and hundreds of others had FIFA purchases charged that were eventually revoked.
Reminds me of one of the last times I tried to log into my Guild Wars 2 account (ArenaNet). Couldn't do it, and it wouldn't even accept my 2-Factor Authentication. And that was after when they had first introduced it and it wasn't even able to be created on my account. No error. Just nothing happened. Eventually (months and months later) it let me do it, but then in the future it didn't. But I haven't tried again in years.

I can't help but be interested in new BF games for the spectacle. Just played some BF1, recently after a long while and enjoyed it a lot..for a couple hours. Just hard to find time to go online lately. Lots of games again this fall and winter...man!

Despite wanting to go back to a slower movement speed of past Battlefield, if they gave BF V controller joystick handling that felt smooth/flat like old Battlefield and not CoD-like (with below half tilt being slow and over half tilt being extremely faster just crossing over the midpoint, instead of a smooth ramp all the way across), then *Sold* (if I had money). Otherwise.... I can wait more now? if I ever do get it, which would be on PC. But I'd still miss controller and rumble.
Maybe they've put in those settings in by now, but I've never had BF1 (nor BF4) on console.
Rare for me, but I'd actually love a free weekend/week for BF V on console, but..... are you allowed to use the free weekend without PS+? Could still be a PS+ only thing anyways, especially for multiplayer, but idk. Oh yeah, that question will go for the open beta as well.

There's a new "The Company" trailer out for BFV about your squad.
To be honest, the changes to BFV do seem kind of positive, as they're attempting to shape it a bit more towards class rolls again (though don't know how strong it will be in the end). But the narration over the trailer is just bullshit that pisses me off.
