The time for this one is pretty frickin infuriating. The last second reveals the singular mistake you made, if that, even if it's late in the track. (And yes, I "tied" him once without a victory.)
And I almost fucked up the last corner, lol.
(Another one destroyed by Youtube's compression at 720p.)

Omg, there is an extremely narrow line to get an advantage here, but it's really easy to mess up for several reasons. I also can't believe I had enough reserve because I got NO added boost out of it on the 2nd lap. And I "tied" the dev AGAIN without getting a win before this. I should've kept a tally on how many tracks I had that happen on. Though there may have been 1 or 2 where I got the win.

Finally! My (gaming) hell is over. And screw this guy for the extra second he pulled out of this track. (I didn't tie him this time, but did get .01 behind previously). At least I already did Out of Time. It scared me a bit because it doesn't show you that it's given you the Master Wheels until you go back to character customization. Now all I've got left is a bunch of the in-game skins to purchase or unlock with wins in any manner, and go hunting for the special crates on each track to unlock the.... Crates. I think that's pretty much it. Except for the promotional items, which I doubt I'll ever obtain just out of principle, or otherwise.
Oh yeah, is there something for Cup wins or whatever? I think they started tracking them near the end of the game updates, but you don't actually get anything for it? Finding details that I'm absolutely certain are accurate about every single cosmetic item in the game could be a pain.

lol WTF! The Gingerbread Joyride Beenox Crate is frickin' stupid.... Definitely in a league of its own from all the others. Though I don't think the Drive-Thru Danger one was particularly nice either, but I somehow got it, Megamix Mania, Twilight Tour, and Tiny Arena sometime a while ago (some by accident) before I started going through all of them today. A few are in pretty silly locations (select, even cruel), but most are pretty dull.
As I expected, there's no Beenox Crate on Retro Stadium.
Also, there's still no such thing as an official "102%", even if the asshole Youtubers claim there is. Yes, it tracks/stars the Arcade Cup win difficulties now, but nothing's going to make your save say more than 101% (besides shenanigans).

There's a few leaks and rumors of CTR:NF (actually once again) coming to PC. An Nvidia leak has it registered in their database but we don't know the reason. Devs having tested it for PC isn't a surprise. (Nvidia is also the Switch hardware.) But also: What's REALLY Fuckin' odd is that we just passed Crash's 25th anniversary date, with the Social Media accounts posting like crazy that day - including the lengthy timeline of all of Crash - YET PRETTY MUCH NOT A SINGLE MENTION/HINT OF FUTURE.

What the fuuuuuuuuck.......... U-turning in combination with downhill speedghosting has been turned into (at least some) entire tracks being completed (and wrecking the dev times by 20 seconds) without any additional boosting besides the start. You can speedghost with u-turn tech ALL the way around Roo's Tubes. This additional tech ALSO makes it so your speedghost doesn't end by being on the ground (or at least drops very slowly) AND ALSO is not affected by offroad!!!!!!Now, if you're doing this normally, switching directions from the initial speedghost-U-turn while touching the ground cancels the speedghost.... but tiny airborne adjustments of the opposite direction can be made as long as you're again holding the original U-turn direction while touching the ground - which is insanely fucking difficult with small hops. HOWEVER, if you also DO NOT EVER stop sending a turn signal (for any single frame), this turn direction switch that would normally cancel the speedghost if you turn the opposite direction while touching the ground - will no longer cancel it. So you know what this means..... Rebinding! People already rebind R2 to Down for U-turning. So then bind Down to Right (or Left) and you can now use Left & Right without releasing the opposite direction. So much wiggle and strain on the hands (probably). Frickin' Ridiculous.
There are some additional troubles though. Apparently additional landing boosts do kill speedghosts, which I did not know. That's actually majorly unfortunate. BUT boost pads do not cancel it anymore and will also still give you a boost (though again with no reserves).
Basically what this guy in the reddit link video (not the Youtube video) is doing is wiggling not to adjust turning because of it being cancelled, which is no longer a problem with a rebind, but actually to not get a drop boost landing. lol Pretty funny after all that needs to be done. And it means that it's only viable on the tracks where it's possible to complete them without getting any more drop boosts. https://www.reddit.com/r/crashteamracing/comments/qy8noy/with_2_drift_boosts_only_i_almost_overlapped_the/

After all this time I think I've finally emptied out the Cosmetic store in CTR: Nitro-Fueled - while also working on the skins/colors unlocked by Wins with characters, which I have an annoying amount more to go because they gave some of them a particularly ridiculous amount of wins to get - particularly for Chick n Stew, which I haven't even gotten to, yet. I don't think I'm ever going to bother acquiring the few promotional cosmetics, if it's even still possible.
There's still people onliine (on PS) btw.

Well..... After 3 Years (honestly seems like longer) I Finally have every thing unlocked in CTR, excluding promotional items. Of course I made it really hard on myself by mostly getting the Win unlocks online instead of the much faster way of just doing it single player. I emptied the "Pitstop" Store a while ago and now have 116K extra coins. As well as the Crate, though I just finished the Crate colors/types today. I actually also had to do the Cups to get the last 3 Paintjobs I didn't have. Luckily I only had to do them on Hard to get all 3. My best Leaderboard time from doing the Time Trials which I finished long ago now was like 2,9##th on Spyro Circuit. Obviously a track that's more narrow on the times, or maybe just the Time Trial difficulty. Was kinda sad my best place wasn't on Outta Time, but that was my first one and hardest. Tomorrow I'll probably/hopefully I guess take a farewell tour of the game, because believe it or not, I still haven't really just toured the decorations/visuals of every track, which change across 3 laps. It really is an incredible game, despite its extra-extra quirks with its physics that even the original didn't have, even though the original's quirks were intentionally built in. I particularly don't like how Powersliding with (Especially) Acceleration on Ice handles in the remake compared to the original. The occasional bad track-edge or invisible wall or out of bounds collision. But still worst of all the incredibly toxic players still. It's Still a Really Incredibly Good Game. With a MASSIVELY Long Ramp of Skill. (though admittedly i wish some of the newer exploiting could be removed which is the highest-of-high-end skilled stuff, as well as well as maybe some newer-found shortcut exploiting, too idk.) Really Really Good Game despite the / its stress and (remaining) frustrations. I still wonder what Time Trials I could be fairly easily again sometimes, but I am not doing that. Oh yeah and just today I might have finally realized yet another bad habit I've ALWAYS had that might unnecessarily cause me more struggle. And it's yet another one coming off of being too scared of the inside of corners. I always tend to push outward when jumping into a 2nd (3rd) powerslide in the same direction, which just adds to the extra distance that you already get with the airborne hop. Admittedly you turn sharper when airborn, minus the forward distance (which is usually bad), but cutting corners tighter can be just a MASSIVE difference, though usually that's cutting out/down powerslides which makes maintaining boost reserves harder. Or just leaving you tight against the inside wall after the corner so you're somewhat trapped in a straight line, depending on the corner.
Sigh.... Farewell CTR?... (or Crash Entirely since the previous devs kept getting put on CoD? but I did get Crash 4 from PS+. I wonder if I ever will actually play it. idk - I never got to the 2nd 2 trilogy games in the remake once I finished the 1st one because it's such a killer just getting to the end).

The Farewell Tour is taking a little long. I still have the added tracks to go. (plus i think the arenas maybe) A lot of the chickens are REALLY Hard to spot. I feel bad for those who had to find the hardest ones. (And Dragon Mines is just *ridiculous*) Some are pretty funny. Some tracks actually have several, though. Also so far, I believe Mystery Caves has the only chicken that is only visible for a few seconds on the 3rd lap. (you might already know about it) Coco Park has a Wizard cortex goon "Lab Assistant", yet it wasn't added as a skin? Also there seems to be a couple without clothes in heart boxers imprisoned on Cortex Castle. Also not added as skins. Instead we got a Lumberjack Lab Assistant. Maybe because there's a Wizard Komodo Joe? Tiger Temple has a chicken chasing a baby tiger. You might already know this, but you can ring a bell by driving near the gas station on Dingo Canyon. I really wish there was more interactivity hidden around the tracks. Polar Pass has an odd Dance Party next to the shortcut wall. I'm not sure if its music actually plays correctly? sounds odd. Also in Cortex Castle the music changes/enhances in the short area in castle just before the finish line. might have already noticed that. Just before the Boost Tunnel in NGin Labs there's Slimer-like blob swimming like a Jellyfish, but no face like the Sewer Speedway blobs. kinda creepy. There's a kind of hidden monkey in stasis on Oxide Station for some reason. (I actually also forgot Oxide Station was on a Meteor/Moon or something) Did You Know? The Sweeping Robots on Android Alley actually move in a shifting rectangular pattern instead of just back and forth? If you look around in one section, there's blue Zams on Hyper Spaceway. Also there are not exit portals on this track which I thought was odd. Players just pop out of thin air on the other sides. I forget if Spyro Circuit is similar? There's Snowsuit Nashes all over the place on Meteor Gorge. Also a Nash statue on Barin Ruins. It's amazing how I pretty much never noticed all the sea monster eyes on Deep Sea Driving. And That Underground Drill machine is used on A LOT of Tracks... As well as there being crashes of Oxide's ship on several (or a couple?) Nitro Kart tracks. or somebody's green spaceships. Oh, I finally figured out that there is indeed space to ride the conveyor belt on Assembly Lane on either side and get the speed boost without getting squashed. (not the metal edges though - it doesn't boost) There's actually very few tracks that show any progression of scenery events over several laps, which is disappointing. Haven't seen anything affected by last lap faster music either, like I'm sure a developer mentioned once in a video. And again I wish there was actually more interactivity to find. There's nearly none, besides the Gas Station bell on Dingo Canyon.

There's no Chicken on Retro Stadium? BOOOOOOO!!!!! Twilight Tour has SEVERAL Egyptian-themed Lab Assistant skins, yet they didn't give us ANY OF THEM to use..... There's no exit portals on Spyro Circuit either. It's kind of amazing how not-very intense music feels much more intense when actually driving the track, even though the music itself doesn't change at all. Nina's Nightmare I think is like the only track that has something that changes in-track across laps that are not specifically triggered by a player? (except probably by the person in first?) The green goo from the barfing pumpkins. Everything else is a trigger box (or shooting open the Tiger Temple shortcut). I still wish there were more neat things to find and trigger / interactivity not related to racing on the tracks. The only one pretty much is the bell you can ding by driving in front of the gas station on Dingo Canyon.
Edit: Oh Shit... There's at least 2 Chickens in the Adventure maps. But what about the Battle Arenas?
