apparently UBI is going to do a live service AC "hub" with games and time periods off of it, launching in 2024. I mean at first blush I'd rather just have a bunch of single player games in time periods every couple years, but I'll hold out hope that this works well. If they keep adding content and interesting time periods, could be an interesting way to evolve the games. Of course usual concern about microtransactions, subscriptions etc. we shall see.

Lol at that overly hyperbolic review. Played a couple hours of FC6 and I love it so far. More down time without being attacked, everything looks and feels great, good characters including the MC, I'm playing as the female Dani and she has a good personality and good voice acting. The music on the radio is awesome..bought the music myself, nit the ost but the "Music of Yara". Latin pop and rock I guess..awesome.
Game is definitely a good game imo!

Ubisoft+ is coming to Game Pass (at least on console?). Isn't EA Play on both PS+ and Game Pass? (as well as EA game's return to Steam)

They confirmed again that it's not F2P. Looks like Ubisoft canceled their rumored F2P push almost immediately.
Another report says it won't be until 2024 at the earliest.

Ubisoft just shut down and removed access to Online Multiplayer and Unlockable Content for 91 of its games. Any form of Ubisoft "points" will no longer be obtainable in the games that have them. (Multiplayer Trophies/Achievements, too, of course.) PC Players are losing ALL unlockable content, while console players get to keep them if they maintain their save.
And yes, the Beyond Good & Evil (HD) Darkroom has been shut down Again. (and, lmao)
