Just got Mad Max for $30 from G2A.com and it's still available.
I'll get it on Friday instead of Tuesday, but it's worth the discount.
Though they are heavily pushing their "Shield" subscription... Turn if off every step of the way, even just before paying. It still says it's off for me... but somehow it still seems to show the extra $1 discount that comes with using Shield, so... that's kind of worrying. Don't know what's going on there. I'm hoping it's just using it without applying the subscription to me.

I'd been kind of thinking I'd not get this, at least not right away, but now I'm starting to think I want it again. I think I thought I'd be super immersed in the witcher still, and I'm still enjoying it, but it's not quite as gripping as I had hoped..you know?
Sounds like you git a great deal on this. I hope that other stuff works out right.

The more I look at JC3, the more the new graphics pull me in... which Mad Max doesn't seem to really have... but then I remember JC2 and remember how repetitive it was to work on completing it (which never happened because of lost save files (can't quite remember why)). I wasn't good at mixing it up I guess. And JC3 might end up being the same. Hopefully it doesn't, but Mad Max could end up being that way as well. But at least I might feel better driving around in a car all the time. I guess I just still have a little bit of urge to stay in the Mad Max universe at the moment and that's probably mainly it. Hoping it ends up being good, even if it isn't as visually polished as JC3 or the movie.
Of course if JC3 ends up getting the multiplayer mod that JC2 got, then I'm all over it. Such a shame that it still isn't coming with multiplayer... what the hell.

Yeah I'm really surprised they didn't put in a simple MP with JC3. I loved every bit of JC2, but I wonder if there was little else out at that time which allowed me to stay engaged, you know?
I'm excited for JC3, but do wonder if it'll capture my attention the same as 2.
Mad Max reminds me of Rage obviously, which I enjoyed at t he beginning but grew tired, again probably other games calling my attention too. I just winder if the wasteland will end up being too much of the same environment and enemies and feel super repetitive. I'll say that trailer showing some of the story and characters is what got me intrigued again along with knowing Avalanche should have some fun combat and explosions. The Melee Looked fun.
I want Until Dawn, and read it is about 9 hours. Yeah replayability but. Maybe I'll buy physical for that then sell it back and use my visa psn credits for mad max...should offer more play time.

Oh come on... G2A dropped Mad Max another $7 to $23... What the heck is that crap... Apparently it's an MSI sponsorship this weekend. So I miss out on it then? Hoping I can cancel. I just put in a ticket to cancel, but also re-purchased it, because I have no idea how fast the ticket will go through on a weekend. At least I have until Friday since it's a global key. Oh lol... It went through already while I was writing this.  Though I'm having more confusion with this, again mainly because their website is massively flawed. The order information does not show what method I used to purchase it the first time and I don't remember exactly which method I used the first time... because Paypal does not show a purchase from the first date... yet my new one is appearing. Was I even charged the first time and where? Hell, I even tried to avoid using Paypal, but it didn't seem to let me. I'll keep looking and figure it out. |

Well... Bad start so far...
1. It doesn't autodetect my resolution. 2. The resolution resets incorrectly on a restart even though the settings are correct in the menu.
3. I can't use my HDMI audio out through Nvidia without disabling my realtek audio. It even has an option for choosing your audio device! But it doesn't work! Ok... It worked once... I think. Sometimes the audio device setting says "Hide Menu" which... hides the menu... but right now my Audio Device setting is set to "Very High".... Wow...
4. The WBplay login menu is very bugged and unusable.
