Interesting.
I haven't gotten to play DiRT 4, but people were once again disappointed saying it was a downgrade in many mechanics after DiRT Rally.
But they use this hashtag after dumping Onrush??

If they actually did, I'm not sure that I care for how they "cool-ified" the lighting over DiRT Rally 1, going for a more DiRT 3/4 look.
Also, I don't care much for the small flat dirt tracks where they're drifting pretty much the entire time (without jumps and such), but that's one of the main forms of "rally" I guess.
lol Had to have that PR line in there saying that it won't have the track generator from DiRT 4.
There will be post-launch content as well.

DiRT Rally 2 gameplay
They're actually going into higher detail in places.
Despite I thought the physical detail and look of the tracks to be the same as the previous game/engines (not including lighting tweaks which I'm not so fond of), he says that the track (or at least the feel of driving on it) will actually change based on which number in line you were to run it in your event. He claims that 5th runner is generally ideal conditions in real life, so I guess that's probably right.
Haven't watched the entire thing.

DiRT 3 is back...  Well somebody says it seems to be raytraced (maybe? probably?) so there's that, I guess...
Well, it can do 4K, but also it'll let you do (probably up to) 120FPS, but not at 4K.

Oh shit, DiRT Rally 2.0 GOTY is $10 on Steam right now.
Still don't know if experts think it's not as good as the first one.

EA Sports WRC to be revealed in 3 days. Might / Probably where the DiRT Rally devs have gone after EA bought Codemasters.
I'm not sure I have high hopes
Admittedly I've never gotten to play DiRT Rally 2.0

So angry they didn't do VR with these. I was so hopefully after they patched the first game for PSVR1. Playing Gran Turismo in VR has spoiled all other racing games. Such a good fit for VR. btw, we saw the Gran Turismo movie and we thought it was really good. Even my wife who is not a gamer and didn't know anything about it all, really enjoyed the movie. Well done flick.
