And here I am grinding CTR. And yes, they ended up making it feel like a grind. Of course they did. I haven't played Odyssey since the Google Stadia test ended. And I was so close to finishing off the remaining story elements of RDR2, but have so far stayed out of the lower West corner of the map. (Hunting being the worst halter because of how creatures spawn).
Will I ever get to finish a game? That's not certain anymore and I don't like that. And I'm so tired of feeling like I'm grinding. Stop it! |

I've put around 90 hours into Odyssey which us by far the most of any game for me, except maybe bfbc 1 and 2 probably. But it has been really enjoyable. Not grindy. I think it has a lot to do with Kassandra, made it more unique and I like her character.
I am just about to start the 2nd dlc episodes, I finished the story, of course tons more to do if I want to.
I agree generally speaking the games nowadays are too big, but I've enjoyed Odyssey alot, and rdr2 as well. Just don't ever get to some games that do interest me now..

Yeah, I saw your trophy. I likely never got close, but it's because of how I play these games. Very very much the opposite of blasting through the main story quest. The thing is, I hate when they add "content" to a game that is literal garbage. Only there for "rpg" grinding. And I'm not talking about the DLC.

Hey, I'm actually talking about this thread's specific game this time. (Of course I should just make it "AC"). I didn't even know Ubisoft was on Epic Store, but starting on the 20th, AC: Syndicate will be free from there. I'm gonna guess it'll still be through Uplay, though?.....
(Aztez is the current free game, along with Kingdom Come.)

Cool. Back to Origins for me lately. Got the season pass on sale, so I actually finally finished the story and on to the first dlc after grinding for a bit to level up. I do like it a lot. But much prefer combat in Odyssey.
