I sure hope it continues to sell elsewhere and new games are still made for it. I know we won't be getting the likes of Uncharted and Most Wanted, but if we can still get some fun puzzle games, platformers, lego, etc. I can live with that.
The AC Chronicles game is great on the Vita..perfect fit. Though I'm only in the early part of India and haven't started the others.

Interesting... i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/ooix8icagzc1r3r5osn5.pngIt looks like, by October 2016, PS4 games could have 2 automatic "graphical" settings. They will all be required to work fully on the original PS4, but then will also be able to take advantage of the PS4.5's (or PS4K's?) extra boost. We don't know yet the things that this boost could bring, but of course only for new consoles.

I could probably argue both sides of this ps4k thing. While I like the idea of upgrades that allow backwards compatibility, at some point (2cycles, 3 cycles?) newer games would have to leave behind the older models to truly take advantage of the newer machines.
Makes sense probably for 4k blu ray to not wait 4 more years to offer that so if you are wanting to go for a 4k tv then the new ps4 can play the movies...could it upscale games? I think not really from what I read.
So for the 3rd iteration of a ps4 or is it then a 5? I really think it needs to play original ps4 games disc and digital, but your of ps4 won't play ps5 games, but maybe the ps4.5 can play ps5 games...I don't know it's confusing. I just want my machine to play new games for at least 5 years, and I would love for any new machines to be backward compatible for (ever?)....

However they do it exactly, they better be making sure things are BC...
That's one of PC's main strengths.

I don't think I really have a place to put this, but Amazon is putting certain game orders locked behind Prime.... Yeah, how long is that really going to last?...

Remember that sign that appeared in PS Access a couple (few?) years ago?... Jason Rubin just retweeted this: I still can't figure out what that number is hinting at or how it works... (if anything). Because I'm an idiot. Also, I can believe that Naughty Dog isn't doing a new Crash (sadly), but.... Jason Rubin works for Oculus... not PSVR? Question mark Questionmark Hmm??... lol Jason Rubin isn't making a "Randy Bandicoot" game for Oculus, is he?... Could he get away with that?.... OMG! The crazy thing about that is that straight line 3rd person platformers work great in VR..... OMG! But the guy responded with this... "it went to a recording of some very random comedy promoting the game."

So my 64GB Vita memory card might finally be unrecoverable. (I say "finally," but really this sucks and shouldn't happen...)
The card has temporarily gone bad many many times before either (strangely) by dropping it (on a carpet), which has usually been recoverable eventually by rebuilding the database a few times through Safe Mode. But most of the time I think it's happened when the system seems to fail to properly shut down, usually when the power cable is plugged in. And that connection, even with a new cable, is generally flaky.
With the memory card in, it gets as far as after the intro warning screen and goes to blackscreen. It refuses to even initiate the database rebuild. Attempted the rebuild without the card, which worked because of course it does. The rebuild even works with my 32GB card. I just cannot get any further with the 64GB. This has happened many times before, but somehow I could eventually get it through the rebuilds and several more rebuilds after removing it and putting it back in and then gradually rebuilding the memory card (which never seems to work fully on the first try anyways). But I'm getting the feeling it's done here and won't be letting me get any further.
This kind of stuff is what worries me about getting an SSD for my PC. That and I have 2 friends who lost the Samsung SSDs to power outages.... I mean that's scary and that's the top of the line drive.

Hilariously awful Tomb Raider III promotional short shown only during the launch party at the Natural History Museum in London in 1998. Revealed by Crystal Dynamics at PAX East.

Man, both Ratchet & Clank and now Table Top Racing are making my PS4 really really toasty when sitting open. And my PS4's vents are in no way blocked. Opening the PS4 menu doesn't help and only going to the pause menu in R&C seemed to help. Haven't figured out if there's anything that works for Table Top racing because it renders a scene in the menus. Maybe there's one where it doesn't in Table Top Racing that I need to find, but this happening is not pleasant... Especially with what happened to my phat PS3 (and the 360 red rings for that matter...). And just the fact that it makes my room really toasty all by itself.....
You know, I didn't want to, but maybe I got to go check what the standby/rest mode settings have... I think I have it at whatever the default is, but that seems to be a pretty long time.
