 So I went to try to fix the left joystick deadspot I mentioned after coming to the conclusion that it probably wasn't going to go anywhere unless I tried to get rid of it by opening it up and cleaning it with something. Well, after a bunch of attempts... I can't get the controller to turn on again. Tried every solution I could find. Once barely got a slight sign of life, but it looked faulty. It's not happening... Pretty sure I don't have the money for a new controller.... At least I shouldn't, but I'm probably going to anyways.

Most likely thing I could think of is frying it with what I tried to clean it with and/or possibly plugging the battery in and turning it on too early. Could have been something else, I have no idea, but I septuple-checked every connection while putting it back together.

Playstation E3 (theater) experience is back this year, and still free. Should I bother?... By the end, it didn't really seem like it was worth it. blog.us.playstation.com/2016/05/30/playstation-e3-experience-2016-announced/But idk... maybe I'll do it anyways just to get out. even though I'll be driving a long distance though some ridiculous roads at 1am in the morning. (I uh... just gotta remember to make sure the GPS doesn't take me to the ferry again...  ) |

New Horizon: Zero Dawn trailer, but it's been delayed to Feb 2017. Darn... The dialogue feels more Far Cry than I expected.... But I guess maybe that's expected from the Killzone devs. idk...  Also, cinematic trailer of a new game from the Saints Row devs on IGN First: Single player only open world. As I ended up not really liking Saint's Row, I can't really say that this makes me excited. Only thing I can say about Saint's Row otherwise is that they make sure their game performs extremely well... except with a bonkers amount of LOD fade-in. Plus on top of that they don't give a shit about bugs with player and enemy ragdolls getting stuck through walls. Which... actually ends up being more humorous than annoying perhaps, but it's just crazy how much little polish they even attempted on those things... yet the game runs at a crazy good framerate lol. Hmm... Where to put non-E3 videos for games that don't have a thread.... |
