If the squad leader ignores requests for orders the leadership is transferred to another member of the squad. When a squad member requests an order (and there is no active squad order), the requesting player is added to the want-to-be-leader queue for that squad and a 60 seconds timer starts (the timer is not reset if there are other squad members waiting in the queue already). When the 60 seconds pass, the first member in the squad queue (the one who requested order earliest) is promoted as a squad leader. If there are other members in the queue after him, the timer is automatically reset to 60 seconds and if the new leader doesn’t give orders over that period either, then the next waiting in line is promoted and so on. If the current squad leader issues an order, then the queue for the squad is cleared.
Let's see how this turns out...
Sounds like they also finally fixed spotting flares not doing crap sometimes.
LMGs also have improved midrange, which is nice.
Mortars now have an.... accuracy cooldown? How do they indicate that? I thought, if they did anything, they would just actually put a firing cooldown.
Prone friendlies can no longer be pushed by their teammates.... It made it so much easier make your point towards a long range camping squadmate....
Fixed floating items on all maps. Don't know if that includes the things that actually bother me on occasion...
Repair tools damage the fortress gun. (From the outside?? I mean, I guess that's kinda nice, pretty funny. A little scary too.)
Suez now has 5 flags.
1 Armored car added to spawns. (Just Suez or all?)
Reduced flag area. (I think these 3 are just Suez.)
Default Operations is now 40 players.
Various UI improvements.
Rent-a-Server
You will no longer get points for destroying your own team's behemoth? That's even possible? Jumping out of planes perhaps.
Syringe damage now scales for how long it was held.
Soldiers in stationary weapons can now be roadkilled.
Slightly shorter loading times.
Fixed destroyed buildings causing major CPU performance issues.
Fixed issue where player would lose vehicle control after opening Origin Overlay 2 times. Hmm... Does this include Steam as well perhaps?
Squads are no-longer autolocked if only 2 people in a party join.
PC players can now disable aim assist on controllers.
Fixed terrain destruction depth issues on a couple maps.
Fixed several objects causing vaulting problems. (Like.... rocks or no?)
Fires on the ground in Amiens now cause damage.
